Terms of Use

1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using The MCA Room, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a binding agreement. The MCA Room is intended for adults involved in merchant cash advance and commercial finance.
2. What The MCA Room is
The MCA Room provides industry forums, member profiles, direct messaging, community voting, and an independently curated business directory. We are not a lender, funder, broker, marketplace, underwriter, law firm, credit bureau, or financial adviser. Member and directory information is not legal, tax, compliance, underwriting, or financial advice.
3. Accounts and display names
You must provide a valid private email address, complete required verification, and secure your credentials. You may use a unique display name instead of your legal name, but may not impersonate a person or company, misrepresent credentials, or create a confusing affiliation. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Member content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant The MCA Room a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, and moderate it as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and enforce the service. Public forum posts, replies, display names, avatars, roles, scores, and attached photos may be viewed by anyone, including visitors without an account. Direct messages are visible to participants and may be reviewed when reported or reasonably necessary for safety, enforcement, security, or legal compliance.
5. Sensitive information
Do not post or send Social Security or tax identification numbers, bank account or routing numbers, complete bank statements, card data, credentials, medical information, or other highly sensitive information. Public discussions are not confidential deal rooms. Obtain permission before sharing information about another person or merchant.
6. Community conduct
Do not facilitate fraud or unlawful conduct; harass, threaten, stalk, dox, discriminate, or exploit; impersonate others or misrepresent offers, pricing, ownership, or authority; post unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or malicious content; spam, scrape, harvest contacts, distribute malware, interfere with the service; or evade moderation, blocks, suspensions, and security controls.
7. Promotions
Promotional posts belong only in Promotions and must disclose the poster’s affiliation. Unless we approve an exception, an account or company may promote no more than once in any seven-day period. Repetitive, misleading, disguised, or evasive promotion may be removed and the account restricted.
8. Funder directory
Directory listings are informational records assembled from nominations, public business information, and administrator review. A listing, contact, badge, rating, or ranking is not an endorsement or guarantee. Owners and representatives may privately claim or correct a listing, but cannot approve their own listing. We may verify, revise, reject, or remove listings and claims.
9. Member responsibility
You are responsible for due diligence, identity and authority checks, protecting merchant information, evaluating offers and contracts, licensing and disclosures, and legal compliance. Never rely solely on a profile, post, message, vote, badge, directory entry, or contact from The MCA Room. Transactions and disputes are solely between the parties involved.
10. Moderation and termination
Members can report content and block users. We may filter or remove content, restrict features, preserve evidence, suspend or terminate accounts, or contact authorities when reasonably necessary. You may stop using The MCA Room or permanently delete your account from Profile settings at any time.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The MCA Room is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee identity, conduct, directory accuracy, message or notification delivery, continuous access, funding outcomes, accuracy, availability, or security.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The MCA Room and its operators, providers, and representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities; financing decisions; or user disputes. Our total liability will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid The MCA Room in the prior 12 months, where permitted by law.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes and will update the effective date and provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate. Questions, complaints, infringement notices, and legal correspondence may be sent to support@mcaworld.net.
